The Florida Delivery and Logistics Association (FDLA) traces its roots back to 1989, when it was founded as the Florida Messenger Association (FMA). The FMA was created to unite and support Florida’s couriers, messengers, and delivery professionals, promoting the highest levels of service, ethics, and reliability across the industry.
In 2026, the organization evolved into the Florida Delivery and Logistics Association to better represent the state’s rapidly growing and diversifying logistics ecosystem. This expansion opened membership to a wider range of professionals—including LTL carriers, trucking companies, warehousing and distribution firms, technology providers, shippers, and vendors—reflecting the interconnected nature of modern logistics.
Our Mission
The mission of the Florida Delivery and Logistics Association (FDLA) is to improve and advance the common business interests of Florida’s courier, delivery, logistics, trucking, warehousing, and distribution industries for the benefit of the public and the communities they serve.
We strive to:
Today, FDLA stands as a statewide network of professionals dedicated to connecting, educating, and advocating for Florida’s delivery and logistics community—driving excellence, collaboration, and innovation into the future.
